Refunds and cancellations

This policy applies to advisory engagements offered by Content Lagoon Core Ltd: audits, workshops, metric framework design, and dashboard advisory retainers. It does not cover software products, physical goods, or subscriptions we do not sell.

Eligibility

Refunds are considered when we cancel an engagement we cannot deliver, when a deposit is paid and work has not started by the agreed kick-off date for reasons attributable to us, or when a written statement of work expressly allows a cooling-off window.

Timeframe to request

Submit refund requests within fourteen days of the event giving rise to the request, using contact@content-lagooncore.click and including your invoice number.

Full and partial refunds

If we cancel before kick-off, prepaid fees are refunded in full. If you cancel more than ten working days before a scheduled workshop, prepaid workshop fees are refunded minus a £150 administration charge. Cancellations inside ten working days forfeit the workshop fee unless we can reassign the date; in that case we may offer a partial credit.

For multi-week audits and frameworks, fees covering completed stages are non-refundable. Unused future stages may be refunded proportionally if you cancel in writing before those stages begin.

Non-refundable items

Completed interview rounds, delivered drafts, final briefs, and facilitator travel already booked with your approval are non-refundable. Retainer months already started are non-refundable.

Deposits

Project deposits secure scheduling. Deposits become non-refundable once discovery interviews or intake synthesis have begun.

Rescheduling and no-shows

Workshops may be rescheduled once without charge if you give at least five working days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of £200. If your participants do not attend a confirmed session without notice, the session is treated as delivered.

Work already started and materials

Printed workshop materials prepared specifically for your organisation are charged if cancellation occurs after print approval. Digital drafts already shared remain yours under the licence in our terms; fees for producing them are not returned.

Process and timing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within fourteen working days of approval. We confirm the outcome by email.
